The 6th annual Wildcat Classic promises to land in the center of the fairway again this year as Baker alums have been clamoring for another chance to hit the links together. Set for Friday, May 16th at Alvamar Public & Private Golf Courses in Lawrence, this year’s tournament is anticipated to be our largest field yet. Past years have resembled a celebrity pro-am as the tournament has hosted former NFL football players, coaches, and NCAA national champion basketball coaches.
All talent levels are welcome. Show off your swing and compete for the coveted Wildcat Classic trophy and other prizes. Following a morning of golf, members will enjoy a robust lunch buffet and place their bids in the silent and live auction featuring sports memorabilia, tickets, hotels, and restaurant packages. There’s no better way to spend a beautiful spring day! All proceeds benefit Baker student-athletes.
Baker University Athletics is a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. The WWP is a veteran’s service organization that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for wounded veterans of military actions following the events of 9/11/2001. This year’s tournament will benefit Baker athletes and the Wounded Warrior Project. Your contributions will help deliver life-saving programs addressing warrior engagement, physical and mental health, and economic empowerment of service members and their families.
Thank you for supporting the Wounded Warrior Project!
