Part of forming a company that provides services that greatly impact the student-athletes that are competing in our events is to make greater use of the platform and do more for our community. Our event over Veterans Day weekend is the perfect opportunity to support those service members that often times receive very little to no recognition from their community for the commitment they made to protect our county. Our team at Top Recruit is excited to be hosting a benefit tournament that allows us to create an opportunity for our softball community to give back to our nation’s service members – the few who fight to protect the freedom of this great country. Often times many of these inspiring individuals come home with wounds you can and can’t see, like a missing limb, combat stress, or depression. Because they’ve risked everything for us and often times we forget we would not be able to play the game of softball, we are committed to raising awareness and funds for these wounded service members and their caregivers.
This is an exciting time for us to host an event benefiting an organization whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) has a big, audacious goal: to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history. We are challenging everyone to help WWP reach this vision, and we need your help.
WWP offers 20 holistic programs to wounded service members and their caregivers completely free of charge and 100% of the funds raised through the this event go directly to Wounded Warrior Project to help fuel these programs.
