We are hoping you will join “Team Chris,” where our mission is simple, “honor the fallen and support our troops.” Our team is privileged to ride in an effort to honor the memory of Cpl. Christopher Scherer, a 2004 Northport High School alumnus who proudly and bravely served our country in the United States Marine Corp. Chris made the ultimate sacrifice for our country when he was killed in action in July 2007.
With our collective efforts the men and women who risk their lives to protect our freedom will know they are supported and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten. We appreciate your help in not only keeping Christopher’s memory alive, but also supporting the men and woman of the Armed Services who are still defending our freedom. Please keep all the servicemen and women and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
Our team is passionate about giving back to our nation’s Armed Forces. Many of these inspiring individuals come home with physical wounds you can see and invisible wounds like, traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress, and depression. Because they’ve risked everything for us, we've committed to raising awareness and funds for these wounded service members and their caregivers.
This summer, we are participating in a Soldier Ride® Community Ride. Soldier Ride is a Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) initiative that provides rehabilitative cycling across the country to help injured warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being.
You can change the lives of injured warriors and their caregivers by donating to support the services provided by WWP. Please join our effort and give what you can by donating through the button at the top of our page. You will have the option to split the donation amongst the entire time or give specifically to one teammate. Any amount large or small will help these brave men and women.
Thank you in advance for your support!
